Tretinoin cream belongs to retinoid group, and it is structurally close to vitamin A both including natural and synthetic analogues. Tretinoin cream is natural metabolite of retinol (vitamin A). At intake the remedy suppresses differentiation and clone growth of the changed blood cells, including myelosis cells. At acute progranulocytic leukemia the mechanism of action, possibly, is caused by injuries produced by the contact of tretinoin with nuclear receptors of retinoic acid. Tretinoin cream is also used for treatment of blackheads. This remedy strengthens cell proliferation (quantity increase) in skin papillary layer, reduces cell adhesion participating in acne vulgaris formation and prevents new acne forms.

Indications:
Acute progranulocytic leukemia both at the patients not taken therapy before, and at relapses or adiaphoria (immunity) to standard therapy. For local usage - acne vulgaris, including comedos formation (sebaceous plug in hair follicle stoma), papules and pustules.
